Next Steps
Because I determined that students were only truly able to be successful at providing feedback when they were already proficient writers themselves, I decided that providing feedback to peers in their conventions of writing was not necessarily the best way to instill a system of support among all students. With this, I have decided to take a look at feedback in a different way, where students will help their peers strengthen their writing by asking questions to deepen meaning. In this way, students will be supporting by helping develop content instead of making corrections to conventions.
